Introduction
Releo ships mobile builds to the stores. You upload an .ipa or an .aab (from the web app, the CLI or a CI job) and Releo:
- pushes it to TestFlight or to the Google Play internal track, and follows Apple’s processing;
- writes the release notes in every store locale, with the LLM of your choice, from the commits since the last release;
- promotes it to production: App Store submission for review, or a Play promotion with a staged rollout;
- shares it on public pages: the APK generated by Google Play for Android testers, an ad hoc build for registered iPhones.
Cloud or self-hosted
Section titled “Cloud or self-hosted”- Releo Cloud is hosted for you: create an account and start uploading. Every account starts on the Free plan.
- Self-hosted: Releo is open source (GNU AGPL v3) and runs as a Docker Compose stack with PostgreSQL.
Both work the same way once the instance is running: the rest of this documentation applies to both.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- An Apple Developer Program membership, with access to App Store Connect, for iOS.
- A Google Play developer account, and access to a Google Cloud project, for Android.
- The apps already created in App Store Connect and in Play Console.
